While our national teams are unable to meet on the pitch with our players and board members called to the front lines, we had a summit of Conference group D including the presidents of rugby Malta, Cyprus and Israel.
In my campaign I met friends from around the world and came across unanimous support, sympathy and compassion.
“One of many stories: Yesterday I was proudly wearing my Israel Rugby polo in the elevator when a woman approached me and asked if she could hug me. She said “I wish I could help” to which I replied “You just did as we know and feel we are not alone!”.
